B.A. Blackwell and Associates Ltd., established in 1989, provides integrated forestry consulting services to a wide range of clients in government and industry. The interdisciplinary services offered by the firm combine experience in forest management, ecology, recreation, and research. Consulting expertise is provided in specific areas such as forest engineering and road deactivation, silviculture, ecological mapping, ecological classification, applied forest ecology, soil conservation, fire management, wildfire risk assessment, forestry extension and forest fertilization.
In addition to their key personnel, B.A. Blackwell and Associates utilizes the skills and services of other professionals as required for individual projects. This includes expertise in wildlife management, forest health, growth and yield, forest hydrology, and GIS.
B.A. Blackwell and Associates has a proven track record of providing quality services in a cost-effective manner. Personnel draw on their collective backgrounds in academic and government research and applied forest management to design and execute forest resource projects.
