CFBC has one Annual General Meeting per year, usually in mid to late February, and in conjunction with the Association of B.C. Professional Foresters AGM. This is typically your opportunity as a member to bring issues of concern forward to the CFBC executive. Reports are submitted by each of the Directors at this meeting and the incoming President outlines his thoughts and direction for his term of office.
Your attendance is encouraged.
CFBC Directors Meetings are held approximately every six weeks at the pleasure of the President. Since CFBC attempts to have directors representative of all parts of the Province, directors' travel costs can account for a major portion of the annual budget. Increasingly, teleconferences are employed to reduce costs.
Members are welcome to attend face to face Directors' meetings during the lunch hour and raise any issues of concern at that time. Advance notice of your attendance at Directors' meetings is appreciated (contact the Executive Assistant).
